All our tests are carried out at our dedicated NHS laboratory. In fact the idea behind Monitor My Health came from the Academic lead of the laboratory.
Exeter Clinical Laboratory already offers a first class service to more than 300 GP practices, Independent healthcare providers and community hospitals.
Our test results are accurate, will explain what course of action you should take or if you need take no action at all.
The laboratory is equipped with the latest state of the art analytical equipment, attracts the best people in the industry and consistently makes a significant contribution to world class research and development which improves the quality, experience and effectiveness of healthcare.
It is recognised worldwide for its Research and Development expertise and is at the forefront of pioneering new innovations in the world of medicine. UCPCR (A Non-invasive practical alternative that aids the management of Diabetes) was developed in our laboratory, a simple at home test that can detect diabetic patients who may benefit from genetic testing. Our laboratory professor, Tim McDonald (Consultant Biochemist in blood sciences) has won several awards for his work including the ACB professors prize 2016 and the 2019 NHS Excellence for Improving Patient Outcome award. Tim is also one of two to be nominated for Healthcare Scientist of the Year out of 50,000 working in the UK.
We are simply looking to offer you a better value for money regulated NHS alternative to other online ventures. We are a not for profit NHS fund raising initiative.
